Main Responsibilities:  
- Manages tier 2 employee & manager inquiries, requests & cases via HR case Management Tool
- If necessary, conducts the appropriate investigation and/or research to identify and present the appropriate resolution
- In exception cases, escalates request by escalating ticket to Payroll Services, CoEs or HR Partners
- Manage workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in accordance with established service level agreement (SLAs)
- Develop core competency in HR tools and programs (SAP, Applicant Tracking System, Learning Management System, Case Management Tool, etc.)Execute & support employee life cycle HR processes, manage associated knowledge & content.
- Facilitate on-boarding process for new hires as required
- Administer employee benefits including medical insurance, annual flu vaccine program and annual welfare health check program, etc.
- Provide monthly/ad-hoc payroll instructions for payroll processing every month
- Prepare and issue letters (e. g. confirmation, promotion and salary adjustment letters, employment certification, etc.)
- Complete data for compensation and benefits and statutory surveys
- Administer tuition reimbursement and training grant application
- Schedule and coordinate lunch talks
- Provide Training logistic support as required
- Provide support managers on performance management process.
- Employee and Labor relations management.
- Labor contract renewal for local employees based in Central&Eastern China.
- Application of relevant permits with labor bureau (special working time permit, etc.)
- Support Union related matters.
- Support settlement of labor dispute.
- Work-related injury cases administration.
- Conduct HR related Investigation as required.
- Administer employee voluntary & involuntary separation by issuing final release letters,
- Protecting IP letter, to leavers and provide payroll with final instructions for final salary release.
- Maintain HR database and files for Central & Eastern based employees such as labor contract data
- Identify improvement opportunities to improve work processes and participate in group/team projects or initiating individual improvement projects when opportunities arise
- Implement process enhancements and changes as required by the Communities of Expertise and other sources of demand
 
Requirements:  
- Bachelor degree in human resources management or relevant certification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HR Operations, Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Working knowledge on SAP/Workday system would be an added advantage
- Results oriented with time management, problem solving and issue resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and remain flexible and change pace with workflow demands
- Has a 'can do' attitude and strong ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to details, accuracy and professionalism
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy to deliver customer service excellence over the phone, live chat and email
- Good spoken and written English
- Ability to maintain strict confidential and employee privacy information
- Sound knowledge in the area of labor policies and regulations of the government
